Application Of The EDGE Seal Hybrid Mat

InterfirmTM 300 mats can also be combined very effectively with InterfirmTM 200 mats to from Hybrid mats.

The EDGE seal hybrid mats are normally comprises one or two narrow strips of 300 mat on one or both sides of a wide strip of intumescent mat. The 200 mat strips protect the leading and/or trailing edges of the intumescent mat from erosion caused by impingement, high temperature, and pulsation effects of the exhaust gas.
